We now have an Assignment type for Turnitin.com. Now instead of submitting your assignment to the website you can add this assignment type to your Moodle course.
Turnitin.com has created a Moodle Integration Instructor Manual that has instructions for setting up an assignment. We noticed that some things might look different so we have included screen shots below that show you the settings for setting up a Turnitin Assignment.
Click here to download the Moodle Integration Instructor Manual (PDF)
Step 1 - Click on Add an activity and choose “Turnitin Assignment”

Step 2 - Give the assignment a name and then type in the instructions for the assignment.

Step 3 - Decide on the Submission type. Typically this will be a File upload.

Step 4 - Set the number of Parts, Maximum File size and the Grade for the assignment.

Step 5 - Adjust the settings under “Turnitin Advanced Options”

Step 6 - Click on Save and Display

After you create the Turnitin Assignment you will get an email with your login info to the site.
Step 7 - Click on the edit icon to edit the start, Due and Post Date for your assignment. The post date must be equal to or greater than the due date; this is the time that the grade is released to students
