The 4th World Conference on Science and Soccer (WCSS) will be held for the first time in the United States in 2014. Given the popularity of soccer and the need to identify best practices to support soccer development, the scientific community in the U.S. is poised to collaborate with leading scientists worldwide who conduct research on all aspects of soccer. The Conference expects to draw 300 guests from around the world – bringing the best international soccer scientists into a dialogue with a growing group of U.S. scientists.

The WCSS is aimed at individuals who are interested in the study and/or practical performance of soccer players, including sports scientists, coaches, strength and conditioning specialists, sports physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, professors and students. The Conference program will combine plenary, invited symposia and both oral and poster research presentations. Internationally leading scientists and practitioners will address the emerging new challenges in the various domains of soccer-related world.
